Winners from last year included Daniel Budden (Sailing World Championships), Megan Giglia (GB Paracycling team), Wilmslow High School and Bromley Farm Wellbeing Hub.
Andrew Kolker, Chairman at Everybody Sport and Recreation commented, ‘It is that time of year again where we all get excited to hear of the truly inspirational sporting talent and community heroes in Cheshire East. Last year we held the Everybody Awards at the exclusive venue Wrenbury Hall and we
can’t wait to invite guests back there in October.
He continued, ‘Every year we are proud of the achievements coming from our region from aspiring Olympians to organisations making a difference to the lives of Cheshire East residents. We are encouraging you to nominate a hero in your town for the Everybody Awards 2016, they deserve recognition and we want to tell their story.’
In 2015, Olivia Cork took to the stage with an inspiring key note speech of surviving cancer and going on to be a nationally competing Para-swimmer with Alsager’s Bridgestone Swimming Club and an ambassador for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
