Children’s Christmas Crafts in Crewe!
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas at Crewe Lifestyle Centre!
Todd the Tiger is donning his red nose and antlers ready to greet children and their families in Crewe this December. The Lifestyle Centre and Crewe Town Council have come together to host a number of free festive fun activities on the lead up to Christmas for all to enjoy.
From Saturday 3rd December to 17th December the Lifestyle Centre will become a festive Santa’s grotto with craft activities including DIY glitter baubles, make your own Christmas tree decorations, festive biscuit decorating, a colouring competition and more!
Hannah Marr, Community Engagement Officer at Crewe Town Council commented, ‘We are so excited to be working in partnership with Everybody Sport and Recreation to bring some festive cheer to Crewe. We have a full timetable of events on weekends throughout December for the whole family.’
On Sunday 11th December families in Crewe can join Santa, the Mayor of Crewe and The Funky Choir in a festive sing-a-long complete with mince pies and mulled wine from Taste for Life Cafe!
Keith Rogers, Youth Participation and Talent Lead at Everybody Leisure added, ‘It has been great working with Crewe Town Council to organise activities in the heart of Crewe and the best bit is they are all FREE! Come and see Santa in his grotto, taste some delicious Christmas treats from the Taste for Life Café and meet our mascot Todd the Tiger in his festive costume.’
