The annual Everybody Awards from Everybody Leisure are happening at the stunning Crewe Hall on the 11th of October. The night aims to celebrate all the hard work done by local residents and honours hard working members of the community.
Nominations for the Awards close on Sunday 4th August 2019, so if you know someone who has made a contribution to sport, health and wellbeing this year in Cheshire East, don’t miss your chance to nominate them.
This year, the awards evening will be hosted by the incredible Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, Paralympic athlete, DBE, and crossbench peer. Tanni has had an incredible career, with 16 Paralympic medals to her name – 11 of which are gold – and 13 world championship medals.
Winners from last year included Ultra Runner Nicola Bruce, Coach of the Year Grace Dodd, South Cheshire Amateur Boxing Club, and Volunteers Kath and Mike Povall.
Awards will be given to inspirational people in the categories of:
- Sports Personality of the Year
- Health and Welbeing Awards
- Club of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Young Volunteer of the Year
- Young Sports Achiever of the Year
- Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement and Everybody Customer Hero
