Pay & Benefits
- 18-month (approx.) apprentice programme
- 37 hours per week including evenings & weekends (operational roles)
- Performance based pay increases every 6 months starting at £10,611 per year with 6 monthly performance-based increases
- 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days after 5-years service)
- Staff membership of leisure facilities at very reduced rates
Leisure – Level 2 Leisure Team Apprenticeship

YOU can be a local role model – one who helps people live well & for longer by teaching them vital life skills in the pool, by keeping swimmers and non-swimmers safe in their local swimming pool, and by helping people to achieve their health & fitness goals in the gym!
Based in one of our leisure centres across Cheshire East, our fabulous Leisure Team Apprenticeship will give you lifeguard, health & fitness and swim teacher knowledge, skills and qualifications. We will introduce you to various areas of leisure working as part of a team and with people from all ages and backgrounds.
You can gain nationally recognised qualifications and valuable experience – and get paid whilst you do it!
You will need to be:
- Enthusiastic and friendly
- Able to swim
- A team player

Level 2 Activator Coach Apprenticeship
Working within our sports development team, you will be involved in the planning, organisation & delivery of a wide range of activities to children, families and adults of all ages.
The role will involve a mixture of office work & delivery within the sports & leisure environment with a focus on customer’s needs and Health & Safety at all times.

Level 2 Catering & Hospitality Assistant Apprenticeship
Based in one of our Taste for Life cafes, this is an excellent introduction into the busy catering world. You will learn food preparation and gain an insight into the hospitality industry. Our cafes are the community hub of our centres, giving you an opportunity to develop customer service knowledge and skills, whilst being part of a friendly team.
You will need to be:
- Friendly and welcoming
- Interested in health and hygiene
- Have good attention to detail
