Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership joined forces with The Social Value Business to encourage organisations across the region, to demonstrate their Social Value by gaining this prestigious award.
Kerry Shea, Director of Health & Communities and Deputy CEO of Everybody shared:
“We are thrilled to be awarded the Cheshire and Merseyside Social Value Award, this is an official recognition of our commitment to Social Value across all areas of our Charity and recognises the valuable contribution that we make to our local communities. Every area of our organisation is focused on improving people’s lives – Helping People Live Well For Longer.”
Best Company to Work For
Everybody’s organisational culture is a massive factor in not only attracting staff to work for the Charity but also with employee retention.
One of Everybody’s 8 key commitments is to, “Create local jobs for local people with 100 to be recruited into leisure, catering and hospitality, business support and apprenticeship roles during 2022/23”, showing the charities commitment to supporting staff and providing opportunities for people in Cheshire East.
Katie Harrop, Head of People & Organisational Development at Everybody commented:
“The social, family feel within our teams and wider organisation results in many of our employees being vocal supporters of us, not just from a business point of view, but as a place to work and develop.”
Contribution to the Community
A new innovative project created and funded by Everybody has sparked a win for the ‘Contribution to the Community’ award.
The long COVID-19 rehabilitation exercise programme was aimed at local residents, working to help them recover from on going symptoms. Over the course of twelve sessions, patients work with a rehabilitation specialist Instructor who designs a detailed recovery plan.
Donna Williamson, Senior Health Innovation Manager at Everybody shares:
“We’re honoured to be recognised for our work in the community, supporting health colleagues and residents in the recovery of Long COVID-19. As a leading health and wellbeing charity our diverse leisure provision plays an important role in health improvement, by supporting people to be physically active and increasing individual and community resilience.”
This Health programme supports one of Everybody’s 8 community commitments, “Deliver targeted health schemes such as exercise referral, long covid and specialist rehabilitation to over a 1000 people in Cheshire East during 2022/23 .”
