Community connector good boost volunteer

Support others to move with confidence. Make a real difference.

As a Good Boost Volunteer, you’ll support people taking part in gentle, water based rehabilitation sessions designed to improve mobility, strength and confidence. Your friendly presence helps participants relax, enjoy the session and get the most from their experience.

Many participants are managing long-term health conditions or recovering from injury. For some, attending a session can feel daunting. Your reassurance, encouragement and friendly support help create a calm, welcoming environment where people feel comfortable taking part.

You don’t need medical or technical experience – just a caring attitude and a willingness to help others feel at ease.

What is Good Boost?

Good Boost is a specialist programme that uses water based exercise to support people with a range of health conditions, including joint pain, mobility challenges and recovery from injury.

Sessions are delivered by trained professionals and supported by volunteers who help participants feel confident, welcomed and supported throughout their visit.
