Nominations for the Everybody Awards 2026 have now closed and our 2026 finalists have now been announced.
The Everybody Awards are back and bigger than ever. These annual awards celebrate the inspirational people, groups and projects who make a real difference to health, wellbeing and community life across Cheshire East.
Awards will be presented at a glittering evening ceremony on Friday 16th October 2026 at Cranage Estate, Holmes Chapel.
Whether it’s a volunteer who gives their time week in, week out, a sports personality achieving amazing things, or a community initiative bringing people together, we cannot wait to recognise and celebrate them.
About the Everybody Awards
The Everybody Awards are organised by Everybody Health & Leisure to shine a light on the everyday heroes who improve lives through sport, physical activity, health and wellbeing.
2026 Award Categories
Finalists for the 2026 Everybody Awards will be announced in the coming weeks. This years categories include:
Community Champion of the Year
This award celebrates individuals who inspire others to get active, bring people together, or support health and wellbeing in their local area.
Community Initiative of the Year
This award recognises community initiatives that make a real impact – from sports sessions and walking groups to wellbeing workshops and support programmes.
Diversity & Inclusion Award
This award celebrates those who remove barriers, champion inclusion and create supportive environments where everyone belongs.
Sports Personality of the Year
This award recognises outstanding achievement, dedication and performance – from emerging local talent to athletes competing at regional, national or international level.
Volunteer of the Year
This award celebrates volunteers who go above and beyond to help others stay active, connected and supported in their community.
Lifetime Achievement Award
This award recognises an individual who has dedicated many years to supporting physical activity, health and wellbeing in their community.
It celebrates long‑term commitment, passion and a lasting positive impact on others.

These awards are not open to public nomination and are selected internally to recognise exceptional contribution and impact.

Entries will be reviewed by a diverse panel including:
- Everybody Board of Trustees
- Everybody Senior Managers
- Sport for Everybody representatives
- Everybody staff members
If your nominee is shortlisted or wins:
- Their story may be shared via press releases, social media, our website and marketing materials
- Photography and video content may be captured at the awards ceremony
