Everybody Awards 2026 Finalists Announced

The countdown is on for the Everybody Awards 2026, and we’re delighted to reveal this year’s finalists.

Taking place on Friday 16 October 2026 at Cranage Estate, Holmes Chapel, the Everybody Awards celebrate the inspirational people, projects and organisations making a real difference to health, wellbeing and community life across Cheshire East. The awards recognise those who help others get active, create welcoming spaces and bring communities together.

We’re also thrilled to announce that our Patron Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson will be joining us as our host for the evening. One of Britain’s most celebrated Paralympians and a passionate advocate for sport and inclusion, Tanni will help us celebrate the remarkable achievements of this year’s finalists.

As well as our award categories below, we’ll also be presenting the Chairman’s Award and the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising outstanding contribution, dedication and lasting impact within our communities.

Our 2026 finalists are:

Diversity & Inclusion Award

Celebrating those who break down barriers, champion inclusion and create opportunities where everybody feels welcome.

Community Champion of the Year

Celebrating individuals who go the extra mile to bring people together, support wellbeing and make a difference in their local area.

Customer Hero Award

Recognising Everybody Health & Leisure or One You Cheshire East members, celebrating their inspirational health, lifestyle or wellbeing journeys.

Sports Personality of the Year

The Sports Personality of the Year award recognises individuals who have demonstrated outstanding dedication, achievement and commitment in their chosen sport. From reaching new personal milestones to competing at the highest levels and inspiring others along the way, these finalists showcase the positive impact that sport can have within our communities.

Volunteer of the Year

This award celebrates volunteers who give their time, energy and passion to support others. From helping people stay active and connected to creating opportunities within their communities, these individuals make an invaluable contribution and inspire others through their commitment and generosity.

Celebrating the People Behind Our Communities

Every finalist has been nominated because they’ve made a genuine difference to the lives of others. Whether that’s creating opportunities, supporting wellbeing, inspiring achievement or helping people feel included, each person and organisation should be incredibly proud of their achievement.

We can’t wait to welcome finalists, guests and supporters to Cranage Estate this October for what is to be a fantastic evening of celebration.

A huge thank you to everyone who submitted nominations and helped shine a light on the incredible people making Cheshire East a healthier, happier and more connected place to live.
