Why are Swimming Pools not open until September ?

After careful consideration we have taken the decision to not open our pools until September which will allow us to ensure the safety and comfort of our customers and staff.

Social distancing measures are in place in our gyms and studios, and we are retraining all of our staff.

The next step is to focus on our swimming pools to ensure that customers can be welcomed back safely and in a socially distant manner.

You can continue to freeze your membership until your pool reopens – please email [email protected]

We are not re-opening indoor swimming pools for public swims or swimming lessons until further notice, this is likely to be in September.

We are opening Nantwich Outdoor Pool for adult only fitness sessions from 20th July.

We are continuing to freeze all swimming lesson memberships. If you choose to cancel, we can’t guarantee you a place back on the scheme as we have waiting lists in the majority of our centres. For those who have pre-paid, the current number of lessons you have left on your account will stay the same when we re-open.

Greater Manchester Local Restrictions:

You may be aware local restrictions have been put in place for the Greater Manchester area. Some of these towns are neighbouring areas for us and both staff and customers may live in them. Guidance has clarified today that if you do live in an area within Greater Manchester customers can still come into our centres provided they come alone, with people they live with or with those in their support bubble, and not from anyone outside of these.

The advice focuses on minimising interaction with those you do not live with in line with COVID-19 Secure guidance. Fortunately all the safety measures we have implemented within the centres are in line with this. Please remember to maintain social distancing and follow all new procedures to ensure yours, our staff and our customer’s safety.
