Ramblers Wellbeing Walks

Free, friendly short walks to help you get active and connect with others

Everybody Health & Leisure works in partnership with trained, passionate volunteer walk leaders to deliver weekly short, accessible walks across Cheshire East.

These gentle routes held in town centres and beautiful rural spots are a simple way for local residents to move more, socialise and enjoy being outdoors in a safe, welcoming environment.

All walks are FREE, open to all fitness levels and ideal for anyone looking to increase their activity in a supportive setting.

What Are Ramblers Wellbeing Walks?

Ramblers Wellbeing Walks are short, sociable group walks designed to help people:

  • Increase daily physical activity
  • Build confidence being outdoors
  • Meet new people in their community
  • Improve mental wellbeing through gentle movement

Walks are led by trained volunteer leaders, ensuring every session is safe, supportive and enjoyable.

Who Are the Walks For?

These walks are perfect for:

  • Anyone wanting to become more active
  • Older adults or people returning to activity
  • Individuals looking for gentle exercise
  • People wanting to meet others in a relaxed environment
  • Residents who prefer guided group activity rather than walking alone

No special equipment is required, simply wear comfortable footwear.
