We are currently having problems with our internet at Sandbach Leisure Centre which is affecting our kiosk, please can we ask all customers to check in at reception.

Following the closure of Holmes Chapel Community Centre on Tuesday 4th March due to an electrical fault, the centre will re-open on Wednesday 5th March at 6am. Engineers have been in attendance and deemed the centre safe to re-open.

We’ve listened to your feedback and we are investing in the dry-side changing rooms at Macclesfield Leisure Centre.  

From Thursday 6^th Feb 2025 the ground floor changing rooms near the squash courts will reopen, and the changing rooms in reception will be temporarily closed.

These updates mean:

• A fresh look and feel
• Improved shower facilities
• A new spacious area

We hope that these updates will make your visits to our centre more enjoyable and reflect our commitment to continuously improving our facilities.

We are currently experiencing problems with our wetside showers at the centre so they are currently only lukewarm, we will update you when we know more.

Upgrades are being made to the swimming changing areas at Poynton Leisure Centre. Works are due to begin on 13th January and are expected to take 8-10 weeks to complete. For more information, please read our FAQs webpage.

Poynton High School are erecting two building huts on the car park used by Leisure Centre and Nursery visitors. It is expected that the huts will be in place from 6th January to Summer 2025. Leisure Centre visitors are advised to allow extra time for parking, particularly at busy periods of the day.
