This weekend, on the 26th October Macclesfield Running Festival is taking place and Priory Lane will be closed between 8.30am and 12.30pm.
Access to and from Macclesfield Leisure Centre’s car park will not be available between 8.45am and 10:00am. Please do not attempt to drive into the car park at this time.

This year we are improving the efficiency, reducing water and energy waste and ensuring the longevity of our swimming pool here at Macclesfield Leisure Centre.
To complete this work the pool will be closed from Monday 20th October 2025, to Monday 12th January 2026.
We understand that this will cause disruption to your schedule. Please accept our sincere apologies. You can still swim at any other Everybody site. Your closest pool sites are Poynton, Knutsford, Congleton and Wilmslow.
