Lessons for every age and ability

Lessons for Juniors (6 months+)

Swimming is not only a fun activity and a fantastic way to stay fit — it’s an essential life skill that all children should have. And there is no better place for your child to learn to swim than at Everybody Health & Leisure.

Our friendly and patient instructors are qualified to provide swimming lessons for kids from 6-months old. Following the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme they will teach your children the fundamentals of swimming, developing crucial skills to grow confidence in the water, all while having fun!

Junior Lessons available at Knutsford:

  • Discovery Ducklings (Age 6mth-3yrs)
  • Ducklings (Age 3-4yrs)
  • Stages 1-7  (Age 4yrs+)
  • Rookie Lifeguard Programme (must have completed stage 7).

Lessons for Adults (16 years +)

Whether you are a complete beginner, or a seasoned pro looking to perfect your technique, we have the best instructors, coaches and environment to learn and improve.

Choose from:

  • Adult Beginner Lessons – For people with no previous swimming experience, or those that have had a bad experience in the past which has halted their swimming journey
  • Adult Improver Lessons – Aims to give swimmers the skills necessary to start swimming independently over short distances without support or swimming aids
  • Adult Advanced Lessons – Designed for those that can swim 25 metres or more and would like to improve technique and build on stamina in order to take part in other pool activities, or have a go at their first swimming challenge event.

Alpha

Alpha lessons are designed for children age 4 years plus with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Lessons are in small groups and receive extra support and encouragement.

Alpha Splash is a free 6-week block for new swimmers in a fun relaxed environment.

Alpha lessons cater for different abilities, some follow Swim England Stage Awards and others follow Alpha Step Awards that have smaller milestones to help encourage progress.
