We’ve listened to your feedback and we are investing in the dry-side changing rooms at Macclesfield Leisure Centre.
From Thursday 6th Feb 2025 the ground floor changing rooms near the squash courts will reopen, and the changing rooms in reception will be temporarily closed.
These updates mean:
• A fresh look and feel
• Improved shower facilities
• A new spacious area
We hope that these updates will make your visits to our centre more enjoyable and reflect our commitment to continuously improving our facilities.

Everybody @ Macclesfield Central is a modern, multi-purpose space designed to bring together health and fitness activities under one roof.
Offering gym sessions, small group fitness classes, personal training and a range of One You Cheshire East programmes, it’s your new town centre destination for personalised wellness services!
We continue to fund inclusive disability sessions and health programmes to help people in Cheshire East lead a more active and healthy life.
Small grants are available for young people in order to keep playing the sport they love, helping to pay for club subscriptions, cover travel costs, essential kit, subs and equipment needed to continue participating.
