About the qualification

A comprehensive Level 3 qualification covering a wide range of First Aid and CPR skills, equipping candidates to act confidently in a broad variety of emergencies.

This course if for employees and designated first aiders working in medium to higher risk environments, or organisations requiring full workplace first aid provision.

What you’ll learn

  • Secondary survey & ongoing casualty care
  • Fractures, sprains, strains & dislocations
  • Head, spinal & chest injuries
  • Burns & scalds
  • Eye injuries
  • Major illnesses (asthma, diabetes, stroke, epilepsy, heart conditions)

Format & assessment

An 18 hour course delivered over 3 consecutive days, including both theoretical and practical assessments. Valid for 3 years.

Prerequisites

None required.

Paediatric combined option

Combine Paediatric First Aid with FAW to receive two qualifications, ideal for schools, childcare settings and multirole staff.

Delivery options

For individuals: Courses delivered across multiple Everybody training facilities in Cheshire East.

For groups: Courses available at Congleton, Holmes Chapel, Macclesfield or onsite at your workplace.
