Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

Ideal for low-risk environments; a 1-day course covering essential lifesaving skills. Includes the Paediatric First Aid qualification.

Individuals and employers in low-risk workplaces who need an emergency first aider trained to respond to the most common life-threatening incidents.

First Aid at Work (FAW)

Required for medium to high-risk workplaces or designated first aider roles; a 3-day comprehensive qualification. Includes the Paediatric First Aid qualification.

Employees and designated first aiders working in medium to higher risk environments, or organisations requiring full workplace first aid provision.

Are these qualifications nationally recognised?

Yes — all First Aid courses delivered by the Everybody Academy is nationally recognised and aligned with accredited standards.

Both EFAW and FAW certificates are valid for 3 years.

We recommend completing the full 3-day FAW course again. Bespoke 2-day renewal routes may be available on request.

  • Full refund with more than 28 days’ notice
  • 50% refund with 14–28 days’ notice
  • No refund with fewer than 14 days (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • All refunds include an administration fee
  • Refunds cannot be issued if prerequisites or minimum competency requirements are not met
