Come and Volunteer this summer with Everybody Leisure

By Everybody Sport July 20, 2017

Volunteer opportunities available this summer with Everybody Leisure.

Everybody Leisure has a range of Volunteer opportunities available across Cheshire East, to help run their exciting activity days for children and families with disabilities.

Everybody Leisure are looking for people to help set up, manage and help support various activities at these sessions.  Types of sports range from cycling using adapted bikes, wheelchair multi-sports, volleyball, soft archery and arts and crafts.

It is a great opportunity to work with children with disabilities and their families in a sports environment.  No specific experience or training necessary just enthusiasm, positivity and a can do attitude.

“The volunteer programme has not just enabled me to gain valuable experience within the sport and leisure industry, it has also provided me with a variety of training and development opportunities, all of which have significantly supported my personal development.

Since joining the Everybody Volunteer Programme, the support and opportunities have been brilliant and I feel extremely proud to be part of the volunteer programme.” Says Volunteer Sam Richardson.

Everybody Leisure’s aim is for everyone to have a great time and get involved as much as possible in the session.  It is possible that this could lead to further volunteering opportunities and potentially paid work (depending on experience and qualifications.)

If you want to get involved, Everybody Leisure has volunteer opportunities for a range of ages and abilities and accept applications from ages 14+. For more information please visit www.everybody.org.uk or contact: [email protected] to find out more.
