About Everybody Cycling Training

Bikeability is designed to give children the skills and confidence to ride their bikes on today’s roads.

Bikeability is a nationally recognised scheme which has helped millions of children by attending Bikeability training within their schools.

There are three Bikeability levels, with each level designed to help improve cycling skills, no matter what the cyclist knows already.

Levels 1, 2 and 3 take trainees on a journey from the basics of balance and control, all the way through to planning and making a journey by themselves on busier roads.

From April 2024 Everybody Health and Leisure is responsible for the delivery of Bikeability in Cheshire East.

Bikeability Holiday Sessions

We will update this section when we have our holiday sessions confirmed. Previously we have organised Learn to Ride sessions as well as Bikeability Level 2. These have taken place across Macclesfield Leisure Centre (Athletics Track), Cumberland Arena (Crewe) and Barony Sport Complex

Please note that spaces are limited and have age requirements.

  • Learn To Ride – This session is to help those who are non riders or need more confidence to ride their bike.

  • Level 2 – This sessions is aimed to teach how to ride safely on the road with effective communication with other road uses. This included navigating various road junctions and situations.
