Adult Para Netball

Everybody Health & Leisure will be running an Adult Para Netball session for adults with an impairment or additional need to have the opportunity to play netball and give a team sport a try.

Para Netball is aimed specifically at the 9.4 million people with a disability or health problem that affects their daily lives or restricts activities in any way and in different areas of life. It is not simply about playing the game of netball but rather making every aspect of the sport more accessible and inclusive.

The sessions are specially designed by our leaders to be super welcoming and largely follow the same formats as any other netball session – including a warm-up, mini-games and drills followed by a friendly game. The rules and play style are relaxed to emphasise the fun, laughter a social session brings, as much as the health benefits.

The session takes place at Macclesfield Leisure Centre on a Tuesday morning.

Places need to be booked in advance through the Everybody Booking Portal. Admission is £4.20 per person for non-members (£3.20 for Options or Wildcard members) to be paid at reception on arrival.
