Classes are a crucial part of recovery and prevention if you have suffered a cardiac event or have attended the NHS Phase III programme.
The 12 week programme reinforces positive lifestyle changes and supports participation to exercise in a friendly and safe environment. Our instructors are BACPR qualified exercise professionals (British Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation).
To join the programme you will need to have completed either the NHS Phase III programme or be referred by your GP. Classes run weekly at various locations and times. Once you have completed your 6 month programme you can continue to use our facilities with further help and support from our fitness staff.

In January 2017, Stephen Pennell suffered a heart attack and decided to join Everybody Leisure’s Cardiac Rehabilitation programme to ensure he made changes to his lifestyle, safely through exercising.
Since joining the programme, Stephen’s exercise levels have increased and he has joined Everybody Leisure’s Aqua Fit sessions, his blood pressure has reduced, and Stephen’s confidence levels have increased. Not only this, Stephen has lost an incredible 11 stone through an external healthy eating programme.
