I have a background in martial arts; Karate Aikido and Kung Fu, I got started in fitness after university and during a difficult time of my life. I got my own PT who was a dedicated and knowledgeable and pushed me beyond my expectations. I changed my diet, stopped drinking and smoking and continued to improve my lifestyle. Since then, I realised if I could help people that were in a similar situation that I was in, then that would be my ideal achievement in a career. I qualified to become a PT in 2019 and slowly built my clientele.

I was bedridden and lethargic which drove me to see a neuropsychologist who suggested getting out the to the gym and to get a more active lifestyle. So, I did. I went to Wilmslow Leisure Centre to start my journey, and I had no idea what I was doing. Sat on the fixed weight machine not knowing anything, then it dawned on me that nobody knew what they were doing, and I shouldn’t be as self-conscious as I was.
