Cheshire and Warrington School Games Success

By Everybody Sport July 10, 2015

Active Cheshire and Local School Games Organisers came together on the 8th of July to host the Cheshire and Warrington Summer School Games 2015 at Everybody Sport & Recreation’s Macclesfield Leisure Centre.

Over 1000 talented children took part across 9 different sports throughout the day including Athletics, Rounders, Golf, Table Tennis and Gymnastics.

The School Games was hosted by the inspirational Great British Gold Medallist Gymnast Craig Heap who supported each and every child and encouraged them not only throughout the day but to further their passion in sport throughout their lives. The running of the day could not have been achieved without the 100 Young Leader volunteers who worked extremely hard to make the day such a success.

Here are a few pictures from the day and we look forward to holding similar events at Macclesfield’s Leisure very soon.

Everybody Sport and Recreation were able to hand out goody bags including Active Cheshire sunsafe wristbands and Everybody summer holiday programmes to encourage children in the holidays to continue to stay active and have fun with their friends and family.
