Wet-side Changing Room Essential Repairs

Due to essential repairs, the swimming pool changing rooms will be unavailable for short periods from 1pm.

At times there may also be no hot water available in either changing room.

All customers are requested to call at reception before using the wet-side changing rooms.

We are working with contractors to get this resolved as soon as possible and we will of course update you when we know more.

Thank you for your patience during this time.

Crewe Civic Centre Car Park Closure

Cheshire East Council has confirmed that the Civic Centre (Undercroft) car park will no longer be in use from Tuesday 12th December as they begin the planned redevelopment of this facility.

The project will be completed in summer next year and include a new car park. More information can be found here.

Read on for information and map detailing alternative parking locations, including which car parks offer reimbursements for Crewe Lifestyle Centre customers.

The nearest Cheshire East Council car parks are;

  • Delamere Street, CW1 2JZ – approximately 5 minutes walk (0.2 miles)
  • Thomas Street, CW1 2BD – approximately 7 minutes walk (0.3 miles)

Work on the town centre’s new multi-storey car park is also expected to be completed in spring next year.

Please note that Oak Street Car Park as shown on the map below will permanently close from Monday 8th July 2024 in preparation for the development of the new Crewe YouthZone.

Please allow extra time for parking if attending timetabled sessions such as swimming lessons, fitness classes etc.

We will remain in contact with Cheshire East Council for updates on redevelopment progress and will share with our members where appropriate.

Cheshire East Council introduce changes to parking

Changes to parking will be introduced by Cheshire East Council impacting visitors to select Everybody Leisure Centres.

As you’re likely aware, the council is facing unprecedented pressures and need to make £100million savings across the next four years. This includes essential cost saving measures.

From 8th July, reimbursement for parking will no longer be available at Crewe Lifestyle Centre and Nantwich Leisure Centre.

While we are disappointed at this decision, we understand the difficult position the council is in. We are pleased however at the council’s decision to keep the ‘Free After 3pm’ initiative in these towns, where parking fees are waived when parking after 3pm.

Thank you for your ongoing support of our charity and our mission to help local people live well for longer.
