Everybody Academy Launch

ON THURSDAY 5TH NOVEMBER, Wilmslow Leisure Centre will be hosting the launch of the Everybody Academy. The launch is open to all local businesses and education providers to find out more about the training and support opportunities Everybody Sport and Recreation offers.

The Everybody Academy provides a wide range of leisure, health and safety and business related training opportunities throughout the year. We offer many accredited and bespoke courses either in our high quality training facilities or at customers own premises.

Guests will be able to try some of the training courses on offer and find out more about recruitment opportunities and the Everybody Volunteering programme.

There will be a range of drop-in sessions throughout the launch day such as:

  • 1.00pm – 3.30pm Basic Life Support & Save a Child’s Life
  • 4.00pm – 6.00pm Training/Recruitment/Volunteering

Wilmslow Leisure Centre will also be holding an ‘open day’ offering free Personal Training tasters sessions/consultations and free group fitness classes throughout the day.

Richard Roeton, Learning and Development Manager at Everybody commented, ‘We are very excited to be launching our Everybody Academy to businesses and the community in November. We have worked hard to provide a range of excellent training and development opportunities which are open to a wide range of sectors and audiences.’

He continued, ‘This is the perfect opportunity to see how we can develop individual and workforce skills and be introduced to what we have on offer in the Everybody Academy and at our leisure facilities.’

Everybody Sport and Recreation are very proud to have recently received the Sport and Fitness Establishment of the Year at the Heart Safe Awards on the 9th October 2015.

“Judges were impressed by the volume, outreach and sustainability of their programme.  They loved the holistic approach this organisation has, the evidence of life-saving and how it’s creating longevity in the community through the launch of their academy.” Heart Safe Awards 2015 judges comments.
