Cheshire Tour of Britain
Everybody Sport and Recreation is a sponsor of the Cheshire Tour of Britain Stage 3. In celebration we are holding a number of events across Cheshire East to celebrate the tour including Start and Finish Line activities for the whole family and viewing parties for our members to join together and wave on the cyclists.

Start Line – Congleton
Come and join us at the start line to cheer on the cyclists as they begin their Cheshire Tour of Britain journey.
Time: 9am -2pm
Location: Start Line Congleton Town Centre
Activities:
- Inclusive Cycling – try our inclusive cycling bikes with our active leaders whilst watching the tour pass by
- Fitness Challenges – win prizes by taking part in fitness challenges whilst watching the tour
- Goody bag giveaways
- Everybody member viewing area
Barony Sport Complex Family Fun Day
The Barony Sport Complex in Nantwich has one of the best viewing spots of the Cheshire Tour! We will be filling areas of the sports complex with fun activities for the whole family and schools to enjoy.
Time: 9am-3pm
Location: Various areas of Barony Sports Complex, Nantwich
Activities:
- Information Stalls including Nantwich Town Council & CTC Physiotherapist
- Taste for Life Cafe – hot & cold drinks available to purchase
- Everybody fitness challenges – how fast can you cycle 1km on our exercise bike?
- Art & crafts for kids and adults– make a banner and/or flag for when the riders come past to show your support
- Sports taster sessions – Tennis and multi-sports
- Dance group performance on the 3G pitch
Finish Line – Tatton Park, Knutsford
Tatton Park is opening up to the public for FREE during the Cheshire Tour of Britain. What better way to celebrate but to see the riders finish the race!
Time: 8am-5pm
Location: Tatton Park, Finish Line viewing area
Activities:
Everybody are teaming up with Cheshire East Life Links, Active Cheshire and Public Health to create an active lifestyle area.
- Smoothie and Paint Bikes – make a delicious smoothie for paint a picture using pedal power!
- Craft Area – create a supporter banner for the cyclists as they pass
- Fitness Challenge – cycle the 1km route on our spin bikes, who can go the fastest?
- FREE Goody bags
- Competitions and prizes
- Inflatable Activities
- Health checks

Cheshire East Member Viewing Parties
Our Everybody facilities across Cheshire East are holding viewing parties for Everybody members either outside the centre or in the town when the Cheshire Tour of Britain is passing. See below the timings of when the Tour passes through each town.
11:00am Congleton Leisure Centre – Head from the Leisure Centre car park to the start line for a range of activities
11:00am Nantwich Swimming Pool – meet at the pool for 11am where you will be escorted across to the Barony by a member of staff where you will be able to access a view point
11.30am Alsager Leisure Centre – there are events happening all through the town and a prime viewing spot is the top of Hassall Road and Bank Corner! Come and try the cycle challenge in the centre of town for a chance to win an Everybody goody bag and 7 day passes!
12:00pm Barony Park Sports Complex – join us on the field for a range of events and activities
12:30pm Sandbach Leisure Centre – complete a fitness challenge in the reception area or come and join us in the town centre to view the race!
12:55pm Holmes Chapel Community Centre – Take part in the Tour of Britain fitness challenge in reception, meet us at the fan zone on the George and Dragon car park to watch the tour go past and take part in fun activities
13:00pm Knutsford – head to Tatton Park for a FREE day out of fun with great views of the finishing race!
