Everybody Sport and Recreation is supporting National Fitness Day on 7th September 2016 with a range of free events and activities sessions hosted in our leisure centres across Cheshire East.

National Fitness Day is facilitated by UKActive and is celebrated all over the UK to encourage more people to be physically active and join together for a fun day of fitness!

Les Mills BODYPUMP -The original LES MILLS™ barbell class, will sculpt, tone and strengthen your entire body, fast! Great bodies aren’t born, they are transformed, using the proven BODYPUMP™ formula: THE REP EFFECT™ a breakthrough in resistance workout training. Focusing on low weight loads and high repetition movements, you’ll burn fat, gain strength and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning

Les Mills BODYCOMBAT –  Is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by mixed martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.

Aquafit – Aquafit is a fun energetic cardio workout, great for both swimmers and non-swimmers. The class uses a range of floats to encourage a water resistant workout. This session is brilliant for those who suffer with joint pain or  are recovering from injury

LBT (Legs. bums and tums) –  Body sculpting, toning and shaping class

Metafit – Metafit – Is A 30 Minute High Intensity Interval Training Session. A Combination Of Bodyweight Exrcises With Interval Tabata Techniques Aimed To Raise Your Metabollic Rate. Booking required

Bodytone –Bodytone is a full conditioning and strengthening workout, improving functional strength, flexibility and co-ordination. It is excellent for improving vital core strength. Booking not required

Circuit Training – Circuit based class with a variety of different exercises which takes place in the main sports hall. No booking required

Kettlercise – Kettlercise Is A Class Designed To Provide A Variety Of Movements Using A Kettle Shaped Weight So Individuals Can Obtain A Leaner Body. Can Be An Intense Workout. Booking Required

Spin Cycling –Spin  is a class performed on a stationary bike led by an instructor. Participants undertake routines aimed at simulating the experience of different terrains and cycling situations. Booking required

LES MILLS GRIT™ Cardio –  is a high-impact cardio workout like nothing else. Designed to burn fat and rapidly improve athletic capability, this explosive, 30-minute workout combines high impact body weight exercises and uses no equipment.

Boxercise – A fitness class designed to assist weight loss, muscle tone & inrease fitness and all the fun of training like a boxer. Booking required
