Knutsford Leisure Centre Leads The North West Into The Future of Fitness

By Everybody Sport June 27, 2017

For immediate release

On 1st July Knutsford Leisure Centre will be holding its official reopening after a total gym refurbishment.

Along with an additional room of equipment and a new sound system, the centre is now also home to eGYM resistance equipment, the first facility in the North West to adopt this innovative technology. Designed to give you the most effective workout, eGYM automatically adjusts weight to suit your body and guides you through various exercises. At the end of a workout eGYM saves your progress to help you achieve your goals faster. Other additions to the gym include new cardio & resistance equipment and state of the art Matrix IC7 spin bikes with Coach by Colour technology.

Paul Winrow Everybody Sport & Recreations Director of Sport & Operations said “We are delighted to have been able to fund this significant investment into our Knutsford facility. We are committed to providing all residents across Cheshire East with access to modern, high quality fitness equipment and it is clear from the feedback that we have had to date that this improvement has been well received by both our existing customers and prospective new users of the facility.”

Visitors on the 1st July will be invited to come along at 11 am for champagne and celebrations, along with Rowan Cheshire (Team GB Freestyle Skier) who will be performing the honour of officially opening the new gym. There will also be a variety of free group exercise classes throughout the day to break in the new improvements.
