Adventureman announced as Keynote Speaker for the 2021 Everybody Awards!

Everybody Sport and Recreation can announce that this years Keynote Speaker for the 2021 Everybody Awards is… Adventureman! Author, Motivational Speaker, Record Breaker, and superhero, Jamie McDonald.

In 2012, he bought a second hand bike and decided to cycle 14,000 miles from Bangkok to his home in Gloucester, passing through dozens of countries and that’s where his journey began. Just two days after he finished the journey back from Bangkok; he made the decision to attempt the world record static non-stop cycling record, which stood at 224 hours and 24 minutes. He finally stepped off the exercise bike after pedalling for a world-record breaking 268 hours – more than eleven days! Everybody are so excited to welcome Jamie to their Everybody Awards and can’t wait for him to share his amazing experiences with the guests.

Commenting on his excitement , Jamie shared “I am honoured to be this years Keynote Speaker at the Everybody Awards, and I am so looking forward to hearing all of the amazing stories from nominee’s! I’m hoping to bring even more fun and excitement to the Awards and can’t wait to share my stories with everyone.”

Jamie will be sharing his adventures and hardships with attendee’s and how he focuses on finding more motivation, never giving up, and helping people to discover more within themselves to make a difference in the world. He has spoken at some of the biggest corporations in the world, including Microsoft and Google.

Jamie is also an author and released a book called, Adventureman: Anyone Can Be a Superhero, about his historic 5,000-mile run across Canada, that quickly became a best-seller on Amazon!

Andrew Kolker, Chairman at Everybody Sport and Recreation shared his delight on Jamie being this years Keynote, “We are delighted that our attendees at the 2021 Everybody Awards will be able to hear about Jamie’s fantastic achievements, and we know he will inspire so many of our guests. Jamie has done some amazing things and we are honoured that he will be appearing at our event. We can’t wait to see the excitement that Adventureman will bring to our favourite event of the year.”

As well as recognising and awarding this years Everybody Customer Hero, Lifetime Achievement and Chairman’s Award.
