Charity nominated for double award in industry’s biggest accolade

Everybody Health and Leisure has been shortlisted for the ‘New Concept, Build or Design of the Year’ and ‘Business Continuity, Recovery & Success following on from Covid-19’awards at this year’s ukactive Awards.

The organisation is in the running for one of the industry’s biggest accolades, as trade body ukactive recognises the very best in the physical activity sector.

Held in partnership with Active IQ, the shortlist for the ukactive Awards 2022 includes fitness and leisure operators of all sizes; local councils; prominent suppliers; leading universities; sports bodies; and charities.

Everybody have been shortlisted for two awards the first being, the ‘New Concept, Build or Design of the Year’ award for their incredible redevelopment project at Nantwich Leisure Centre. The other including the ‘Business Continuity, Recovery & Success award following on from Covid-19’ which was for their achievements over the last 12 months in recovering the charity following lockdown closures and the services we continued to provide to our communities.

The winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham on Thursday 30 June, with hundreds of leaders from the worlds of fitness, health, leisure and sport expected to attend.

We were able to kick start our 5 towns investment for our incredible development project at Nantwich Leisure Centre. Our achievements over the last 12 months have been focused around recovering our charity following lockdown closures and the services we continued to provide to our communities.”
