Matthew Rigby Sports Personality of the Year with David Pritchard Applewood Independent and Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson
This year’s Everybody Awards is on the 7th October at the stunning Crewe Hall, and Everybody Health and Leisure will be welcoming heroes from the local area and celebrating their achievements in sport, health and wellbeing, play and active recreation.
If you know somebody who deserves to be recognised, or maybe you would like to nominate your own club or organisation, don’t miss your chance to nominate, the closing date for this year’s award nominations is Monday 15th August 2022.
This year’s Awards will be hosted by the fantastic Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson and the Keynote speech will be delivered by the Inspirational Michael ‘Eddie’ Edwards (also known as Eddie The Eagle). They will both be sharing their stories about success and hardship and connecting with the brilliant nominee’s and guests.
Nomination categories include:
- Volunteer of the Year
- Club of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Sports Personality of the Year
- Health and Wellbeing Award
- Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year
- Young Sports Achiever of the Year
As well as recognising and awarding this year’s Everybody Customer Hero, Lifetime Achievement and Chair’s Award.
Speaking on the Everybody Awards, Everybody Health and Leisure’s Chairman Andrew Kolker shared,
“We have already had some brilliant nominations submitted and are blown away by some of the achievements of our local community. We’re really looking forward to the awards and seeing all of our nominee’s celebrating with their family and friends. We want to hear from you, do you know someone who’s made an outstanding contribution to sport, active recreation, health and wellbeing since 2021? Nominate them for the Everybody Awards 2022 and they could be one of our winners!”
Previous winners include snowboarding athletes, obstacle course superstars, local nurseries or schools, local sports clubs for netball, rugby or football, cyclists, and of course Everybody’s fantastic members.
