The Everybody Foundation has relaunched with a new process for giving out grants to the community!
The Cost of Living Crisis is at the forefront of everyone’s mind right now, and helping to relieve the local community of some of the pressures of this is our top priority.
We have been hearing reports that local sport clubs are seeing a drop-off in numbers of young people attending sessions recently. When times are tough, parents and carers may be forced to pull their children out of extra-curricular sport due to the costs it can bring – understandably so.
This is where the Everybody Foundation comes in! We would like to give the opportunity to clubs in the Cheshire East area to apply for a small grant to be used either as their own hardship fund, or on behalf of a young person who is at risk of dropping out.
These small grants will be used to help pay for club subscriptions, cover travel costs, essential kit, subs and equipment needed to continue participating.
The Everybody Foundation has three aims for the benefit of the public within the communities in which Everybody Health and Leisure operates. They are:
Promotion of a healthy & active lifestyle
Organisations can be funded to deliver projects that encourage people to be active and healthy. It could be a one-off community event, to kick-start an activity programme or something completely different
1/3
Assisting individuals to achieve their potential
Individuals can be supported to be active regardless of whether that is trying to win an Olympic gold medal, develop the skills to help others to be active or to access their session of choice more regularly.
2/3
Improvement to facilities used to fulfil an active lifestyle
Funding can be used to pay for facility developments and the purchase of non-sporting equipment that helps the communities in which Everybody Health and Leisure operates to be more active.

Stefaniia Ukrainets
Yuliia and Stefaniia both arrived in Wilmslow from Ukraine in 2023. Stefaniia played tennis for several years growing up in Ukraine but wasn’t able to play over the past year and a half. Since arriving in England, Stefaniia has begun training again at Bramhall Lane Lawn Tennis Club and as such needed a new racket. The Everybody Foundation bought Stefaniia a brand new ‘Extreme MP Tennis Racket 2022’ as she needed a heavier racket now that she is older.
Yuliia Ukrainets, mum of Stefaniia, shared:
“Thank you very much to the Everybody Foundation, the tennis racket is great. Stefaniia is very glad and she now enjoys playing tennis.”
