This February, we’re celebrating the Everybody Foundation with a month of activities to raise funds and awareness for the vital work it does. The Foundation provides grants to sports clubs and individuals, helping young people stay active and supporting community clubs to thrive.

What is the Everybody Foundation?

The Everybody Foundation exists to give out grants to the community to keep sports clubs active and keep people playing the sports that they love.

We to give the opportunity to clubs in the Cheshire East area to apply for a small grant to be used either as their own hardship fund, or on behalf of a young person who is at risk of dropping out.

These small grants will be used to help pay for club subscriptions, cover travel costs, essential kit, subs and equipment needed to continue participating.

What are the Everybody Foundation's aims?

The Everybody Foundation has three aims for the benefit of the public within the communities in which Everybody Health and Leisure operates. They are:

Foundation February What’s on?

This February, we’re celebrating the Everybody Foundation with a month of activities to raise funds and awareness for the vital work it does. The Foundation provides grants to sports clubs and individuals, helping young people stay active and supporting community clubs to thrive.

Here’s how you can get involved!

  • Swim for the Foundation:

As part of Foundation February, all Learn to Swim members will take part in a distance swim challenge during their lesson. After completing the challenge, all children will receive a certificate as a reward for their effort and confidence.

We kindly ask for an optional donation to the Foundation in return for the certificate. Details will be included on the certificate, or you can donate via our website.

  • Colouring Challenge:

Pick up a colouring sheet for your little one (or yourself!) from reception. Colour it in and submit back for a chance to win a prize!

  • Activity Bingo Cards:

For £1 you can collect a bingo card full of achievable challenges from the reception desk at your leisure centre. Check off everything on the card and submit back to reception for a chance to win a prize!

  • Gym Challenges:

You can take part in tailored Gym Challenges that you will find on the gym floor in your centre, donate if you can, push yourself and compete with your peers on the gym floor.

  • Bake Sale Week – 9th – 15th February:

Watch out for our Foundation Bake Sale posters around the sites, they will give details of when are where you can buy some delicious cakes and bakes to support our cause.

  • Walking Netball tournament – 3rd February:

We are holding a Walking Netball Tournament on the 3rd February at Macclesfield Leisure Centre.

  • Pickleball Festival – 27th February

We are holding a Pickleball Festival on the 27th February at Macclesfield Leisure Centre.
