About Shannon

I have always had a huge passion for health and fitness for as long as I can remember. I have previously trained in boxing which has taught me lots about discipline. I love training hard and lifting heavy, so turning my passion into a job seemed like the best outcome. Helping my clients reach their goals is the best feeling possible.

I am continuously learning and continuing my studies through further qualifications so I can provide my clients with the best possible coaching. From struggling with a serious herniated disc issue with my lumbar spine a few years ago, I understand the importance of proper technique. I was able to strengthen my muscles around my injury to reduce the inflammation and allow my spine to feel strong once again.

My main interests are bodybuilding and powerlifting. I like to call it ‘powerbuilding’ – the approach of physique transformations whilst trying to get as strong as possible. Also, I think it is important to have a wind down relaxing hobby. For example, I love cross stitching as I find it a great way to keep me busy on my rest days! (which are vital)
