The Everybody Junior Awards are for Sporting Stars in the Cheshire East region, for ages 5-11 years old.
* The nominees must have connection with Cheshire East *

Junior Helper Of The Year – 5-11yrs only

A young person who has shown dedication to helping others in a sport, health or wellbeing setting regularly (achievements must be between 1st September 2019 – 8th October 2022)

This may include, supporting individuals, coaches or groups.

Amelia Yoxall

Amelia has done amazing and always offers support to everyone. She always helps out with lessons and provides ideas on a regular basis. She has progressed amazingly in our swim programme and her teachers think she would make an amazing teacher in the future!

Junior Sports Personality Of The Year 5-8yrs only

Someone aged 5-8 years who has competed and achieving at local, regional or national level in a sport or several sports, shown an ability to lead by example and support others  (achievements must be between 1st September 2019 – 8th October 2022)

Bella McKinney

Bella is so dedicated to sport and her achievements at just 6 years old are truly astounding! Bella shows dedication at such a young age by training 3 times a week for her gymnastics and her coaches say she always gives 110% to everything she does, and her ambition is to one day compete in the Olympics! As well as her dedication to Gymnastics, she also regularly attends other classes including dance and swimming. Bella’s maturity and dedication to her sport is amazing. She always tries her absolute best and is always happy. Her level of skill at gymnastics is fantastic and she recently won an array of golds at her latest competition.

Oliver Edwards

Oliver is an inspiration, and we all truly admire his dedication, he has faced problems whilst trying to progress in dance but has never let them get in his way! Oliver over the past year has performed twice with the English youth Ballet in productions in Nottingham and Stoke where he auditioned among 300 other children and both time received a special mention from the company manager.

Everybody Family Of The Year

A family who show immense dedication to remaining healthy and active together within the past 12 months (achievements must be between 1st September 2019 – 8th October 2022)

The Beevers

As a family, being fit and healthy is a huge part of their life.  The family are amazing and really have changed their lifestyles. They have increased exercise, both parents attending the Everybody gym on a regular basis from attending cluberrsize to Les Mill body combat class showing great role modelling and parent skills to their two children. The biggest achievement is the change in health of the whole family including weight loss, reduce in BMI, reduce in blood pressure, waist circumference which has increased health status and made the family feel better.

Someone who has made remarkable personal sporting or activities achievements (achievements must be between 1st September 2019 – 8th October 2022)

Oliver Johnson

Oliver has always been dedicated to sport and was so exciting to start competing! Since competing his achievements have been amazing. So far, he has won all of his sprints with PBs, set the season record for his club’s age-group at javelin, but most impressive has been his change in attitude to long distance – he never moans and always puts his passion into everything! His recent injuries and setbacks are what made the judges pick him as a winner, his mind set and ability to overcome issues at such a young age was what made him stand out as a clear winner!

Everybody Swim Rising Star 5-11yrs only

A swimmer participating in the Everybody Swim programme who always listens to instructions, is enthusiastic to achieve, and gifted in the water. They also support other learners in the group and the swimming teacher too. (achievements must be between 1st September 2019 – 8th October 2022)

Ruby Stonier

Ruby has achieved so much whilst swimming with Everybody and her achievements really are admirable. In just 3 years she has managed to work her way through nearly the complete scheme! Her dedication to swimming goes even further as she now swims for her local team, the Crewe Flyers. She is always willing to learn and wants to develop her skills even more. She is a pleasure to teach and her passion and commitment is commendable.

Grace Murray

Grace had faced difficulty in the past with swimming and was often a danger around water, but since joining she has learned so much and developed many skills. Grace’s family are so proud of her achievements and we are all delighted that Grace has found a love for swimming. In the future Grace wants to develop her skills and become a lifeguard in order to help others.
