When do swimming lessons start at Congleton Leisure Centre?
Swimming lessons will start from Saturday 1st July.
I’d like to transfer my child from an existing Everybody Leisure Centre to Congleton Leisure Centre for swimming lessons. How do I do this?
Please email the following information to [email protected]: name of child, current swimming lesson location, your child’s current swim stage, your preferred day/time
I have put in my swimming lesson transfer request, when will I receive confirmation of the change?
Official communication of all transfer requests will be sent on Tuesday 30th May, if any amendments need to be made to your transfer time/day please email [email protected] and we will aim to respond within 14 days. All transfer amendments need to be submitted by 5th June.
Can I still add my child to the Congleton swimming lesson waiting list?
Yes, of course! Our waiting list is open; however, any enquires we receive from now may not be guaranteed a start date of the 1st July.
I have asked for my child to be added to the Congleton wating list, when will I hear about lessons?
We are staggering this process over 4 weeks to ensure our phone lines can cope with the increased demand. Please do not call us until you have received an offer of swimming lessons via email. If you do have any further questions or queries on this, please email [email protected].

Can I hire your swimming pool?
Yes! The pool can be hired for events, galas, competitions etc and we have held events of this natures at other Everybody venues. We also take bookings for swimming clubs and kids pool parties. To make an enquiry, please email [email protected]
What features are in the spa area?
The spa has scented steam room and sauna as well as a tropical shower and crushed ice machine for the full hot and cold experience. This area has a couple of loungers to ensure total relaxation.
What’s in the gym?
The gym offers a spacious workout, set across 2-storeys. With 100+ stations of kit powered by Technogym you’re sure to get the most out of your session. The gym includes zones for cardio, free-weights, resistance, functional and stretch area. The heaviest set of dumbbells in the gym are 46kg.

What group fitness classes do you offer?
There will be 60+ weekly group fitness classes with something suitable for every ability, set across two group fitness studios, a dedicated group cycle studio, swimming pool-based classes and the gym floor. Classes include mind and wellbeing classes such as Yoga and Pilates, cardio classes such as Zumba and Dance Fit, a menu of Les Mills classes such as Bodypump and Bodybalance and our incredible gym-floor TRAIN classes with HIIT inspired circuits around the functional training rig.
What features are in the sports hall?
The Sports Hall is a 4-court sports hall. Sports hall bookings for football, netball, badminton, boccia and table tennis can be made via our Leisure Hub booking portal. To book Volleyball or Indoor Bowls please contact [email protected]. Equipment can be provided for football, netball (need own bibs), table tennis, indoor bowls and volleyball. To play Boccia you will need to provide your own kit.
Can I hire your sports hall?
Yes! We take sports hall bookings from clubs for activities such as football, netball, badminton etc. We also offer sports hall parties for kids including Bubble Football! To make an enquiry, please email [email protected]
Can you tell me more about the soft play area?
The centre offers a 3-storey soft play area on the ground floor, directly next to our Taste For Life café, perfect for the grown ups to enjoy a hot drink while the kids play. The soft play includes an area for babies, as well as slides and ball pits for children up to 8 years old.
Do you offer kids parties?
Yes! We offer soft play parties, sports hall parties including Bubble Football, and swimming pool parties. Our dedicated Kids Party Room ensures you have a private party space while our onsite Taste For Life café can also cater your party food needs so you can focus on enjoying your child’s special day.
Will you be running Multi Activity days during school holidays?
We will have Multi Activity Days taking place at Congleton Leisure Centre. Our Multi Activity Days provide a safe location for children and young people age 8 – 13 years to come and relax, make friends and be active during the holiday period. Helping children and young people to build confidence and self-esteem while improving social skills, co-ordination, and fitness levels. Bookings are now available for the whole of the school holidays!

What accessible features for swimming pool visitors?
A poolside wheelchair is available for visitors to use. The main pool has accessible steps at the shallow end of the main pool (these are separate to the fixed ladder steps). A poolpod is also available, which is a user-controlled pool lift providing independent access in and out of the pool.
What accessible features are available for gym users?
There is an elevator taking gym users from the ground floor to first floor of the gym and equipment that meets Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) accreditation is available.
What accessible changing facilities are there?
Congleton Leisure Centre has standard accessible changing rooms as well as a larger Changing Places toilet with equipment including a changing bench and a hoist, designed to support disabled people who need assistance.
What are the car parking arrangements?
Parking at Congleton Leisure Centre is free for customer use. There are 114 car parking spaces, including accessible parking spaces, parent/child parking spaces and electric charging points.
Changing Rooms
Dedicated wet and dry changing facilities with changing cubicles, showers and lockers (take £1 coins or tokens – available to purchase at reception). Wetside changing village with 4x family change cubicles, baby changing and 2x group changing rooms for schools and large groups. Hairdryers are free to use and there is a spin dryer for wet swimwear.
Can I book a tour of Congleton Lesisure Centre before it opens?
Yes. Pre-opening tours will take place from 21st June – 27th June and are available to book now.
