A welcoming exercise programme for people diagnosed with a neurological condition. Whether you want to boost energy, improve mobility, or build confidence, we’re here for you.

Choose from Bike Therapy, NeuroFit Circuit Class and NeuroFit Gym Sessions.

Delivered by our Level 4 Specialist Neurological Exercise Rehabilitation Instructors, so you’re in safe, knowledgeable hands.

You will receive

  • A personal consultation with one of our Specialist Neurological Rehabilitation Exercise Instructors
  • Exploration of physical activity opportunities that match your needs and preferences and a tailored programme designed to improve physical strength, mobility, confidence, and quality of life.
  • A safe, supportive, and motivating environment to exercise
  • Exercise delivered individually or in a group setting, providing peer support and encouragement, choose from Bike Therapy, NeuroFit Circuit Class and NeuroFit Gym Sessions. Wider activities also available including Wellbeing Walks and Swimming
  • Regular follow ups and ongoing support from our Specialist Instructors

 

 

Eligibility and Exclusion Criteria

Eligibility Criteria:

For those living with:

  • Parkinson’s stage 1 – 3 (ideally as early after diagnosis as possible)
  • MS
  • Had a Stroke
  • Able to walk unaided (minimum support)
  • Able to follow instructions and exercise independently (a carer can come to support)
  • Low falls risk

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Parkinson’s stage 4 & 5
  • May not be appropriate for people who are falling or freezing regularly
  • Wheelchair user or reliant on walking aids
  • Have a complex medical history
  • Recovering from a recent injury or illness

Choose from

Indoor cycling shown to reduce Parkinson’s motor symptoms by up to 35%. Includes:

– Gentle warm-up

– Cycling at 80–90 RPM with resistance

– Cool down & recovery

No experience needed and tailored to all abilities.

Available at Crewe Lifestyle Centre.
