The SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming qualification is a practical course, which develops the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to be a Swimming Teacher.
This qualification builds on the knowledge, skills and abilities developed in the Swim England Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) qualification. When achieved it ensures swimming teachers can effectively and independently plan, prepare, deliver, monitor and evaluate a series of swimming teaching lessons.
You must be at least 16 years of age on the first day of the course and hold the SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) certificate or Swim England/ASA equivalent.

Pre Requisites
Candidates must be at least 16 years of age to register onto this course and either the SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching), Swim England Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teacher), Swim England Level 1 Award in Teaching Aquatics (QCF) or an equivalent qualification certified after 1994.
