Re-opening of Everybody Leisure Centres 2nd December 2020

We are pleased and excited to announce that we will be reopening all of  our 16 leisure centres and swimming pools on 2nd December 2020 following the latest announcement from the Government.

We would just like to say a big thank you to all of our customers for your support and patience during these difficult times, and we can’t wait to see you all again.

We will be reopening as a covid-secure leisure operator and measures will continue to be in place to keep both our staff and customers safe including one way systems, social distancing, regular deep cleaning and mandatory mask wearing for all visitors. You can find our more information on our covid guidance here:

Indoor group exercise

We are currently awaiting further guidance from the Government and the clarification on which Tier the region of Cheshire East is being placed into. This will affect how we deliver group exercise and indoor sports at our centres. We will be announcing further details as soon as we can.

Currently, under Tiers 1 & 2 group exercise can resume indoors as long as covid-measures are in place. Our centres are covid-secure and we have adequate social distancing measures in place in our centres. If indoor group exercise is permitted for Cheshire East these sessions will be available to book early next week from Monday 30th November.

If Cheshire East is in Tier 3 then indoor group exercise will not be permitted, however members will continue to have access to our Everybody @ Home health and fitness channel with a range of daily live and on demand fitness class workouts.

It has been brilliant to see thousands of our members enjoying these classes during the lockdown.

If you have not yet signed up you can register here: all you need is your member number and email address.

Gym and Swim Bookings

The booking system for swimming and gym sessions will be available from Monday 30th November for week commencing 2nd and can be made online at

*NEW* 1hr gym slots! From 2nd December we will be introducing back to back gym slot bookings of 1hr each.

We have revised our gym booking timetable and procedures to accommodate more gym slots throughout the day at all sites! We will be upkeeping the high standards of hygiene with frequent cleaning from our staff and members throughout the day.

Members can book back to back sessions if you need more than 1hr sessions in the gym.

Not able to book online? You can call your local leisure centre and we are now accepting walk-ins for last minute cancellations – all online bookings will take priority with 8 days advanced booking on most activities.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons will resume from week commencing 2nd December at the same lesson time and day confirmed before the lockdown and the same covid-measures are in place.

All swimming customers will receive an email confirmation.

Membership Payment

During our closure we froze all membership payments and for December will be adjusting direct debits to reflect the period of closure. All annual members will have the month added on to their membership term.
