Re-opening of Everybody Leisure Centres 2nd December 2020
We are pleased and excited to announce that we will be reopening all of our 16 leisure centres and swimming pools on 2nd December 2020 following the latest announcement from the Government.
We would just like to say a big thank you to all of our customers for your support and patience during these difficult times, and we can’t wait to see you all again.
We will be reopening as a covid-secure leisure operator and measures will continue to be in place to keep both our staff and customers safe including one way systems, social distancing, regular deep cleaning and mandatory mask wearing for all visitors. You can find our more information on our covid guidance here: www.everybody.org.uk/everybody-back-together
Indoor group exercise
We are currently awaiting further guidance from the Government and the clarification on which Tier the region of Cheshire East is being placed into. This will affect how we deliver group exercise and indoor sports at our centres. We will be announcing further details as soon as we can.
Currently, under Tiers 1 & 2 group exercise can resume indoors as long as covid-measures are in place. Our centres are covid-secure and we have adequate social distancing measures in place in our centres. If indoor group exercise is permitted for Cheshire East these sessions will be available to book early next week from Monday 30th November.
If Cheshire East is in Tier 3 then indoor group exercise will not be permitted, however members will continue to have access to our Everybody @ Home health and fitness channel with a range of daily live and on demand fitness class workouts.
It has been brilliant to see thousands of our members enjoying these classes during the lockdown.
