Everybody Awards 2014: Winners Announced
On 20th November 2014 the Everybody Awards were held at Cranage Hall, Cheshire where inspiring volunteers, sporting clubs, and individuals from the region gathered to be recognised for their achievements and helping change lives through healthy recreation.
The prestigious awards night welcomed over 160 guests including nominees and was hosted by BBC Radio Manchester presenter Mike Shaft.
After an uplifting opening speech from Everybody Leisure CEO, Peter Hartwell and entertainment from musical powerhouse Tom Seals the nominees and winners were announced. Representatives from event sponsors Matrix Fitness, Collingwood Search, Cheshire Work & Leisure Wear, FLM Training and Active Cheshire along with the Mayor of Cheshire East Wesley Fitzgerald welcomed all nominees and winners on stage to be presented with their trophies and certificates.

Sophie is a cyclist who represents Great Britain and is part of the GB Cycling ‘Podium Programme’. She won 2 gold medals for tandem sprint and 1km time trial events at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow representing England. Sophie only took up cycling in 2009 and is also a seven time National Champion and a two time World Champion

The Everybody Awards is an annual event now in it’s fifth year and previously known as the Cheshire East Sports Awards.
The evening also launched the Everybody Challenge which is an initiative designed by Everybody Leisure to help change lives through active and healthy recreation and encouraging everyone in Cheshire East to take part in 30 minutes of exercise, 5 times per week and be in with a chance of winning a lifetime membership.
