Our Health Referral Lead Kevin has put together a workout card with 10 muscular strength exercises, to help with the management of diabetes through exercises.
Do not exercise if blood glucose level is >13mmol/l with ketone or if testing is not possible. Exercise with caution if blood glucose level is >13mmol/l without ketone. It’s important to check your blood glucose levels during exercise and you may need to consume a sugary drink or carbohydrate snack.
Please take reasonable precautions to prevent damage or injury. Please do not participate in workouts if advised by your doctor against.
