Cancellations

All Everybody direct debit memberships are agreements in accordance with the Direct Debit Guarantee and are subject to regular price reviews. Any change to memberships will be notified in writing a minimum of 10 days before any intended change.

Memberships can be frozen for a maximum of 3 months at a time with a £5 direct debit charge applied to each month. Freezes can be applied by contacting [email protected]

Memberships cannot be cancelled prior to the agreed contract length that you have signed up for and the last payment has been made. A contract may be cancelled once the final payment has been collected, this requires 10 days advance notice in writing to Everybody Health and Leisure to the e-mail address [email protected]. A confirmation e-mail will be sent back. Queries on cancelled memberships can only be dealt with when a copy of the confirmation e-mail and ticket number is provided.

Remember to cancel your Direct Debit at your bank or through your online or telephone banking service as well.

Freezing your Membership

Everybody Monthly members, or members who have completed 12 installments on an Everybody Annual contract may freeze their membership at any time. Simply give us 7 days notice and an estimated time you will return. We normally freeze memberships for up to 3 months with a £5 direct debit charge applied to each month, but if you’re unable to return at the end of that time, just let us know and we’ll extend it.

If you are on an Everybody Annual membership, this can only be frozen for severe circumstances (such as medical or moving house, for which we will request written evidence).

You do not need to stop your Direct Debit at the bank if your membership has been frozen.

Students

You can freeze your membership while you are away at university rather than re-joining every time you come home. Just let us know when you want the membership to stop and start around your university term time. The same rules around cancelling still apply for the Everybody Annual memberships though, over the course of your course, we need to collect a minimum of 12 instalments, even if this is over 3-4 years.
