Our Activity Hubs are a fortnightly multi-sport and play session supporting children with a range of disabilities to be physically active. The Activity Hub consists of a variety of activities including special themed events and quiet areas, based on consultation, to keep participants engaged.
The different activities will be adapted to make sure they are suitable for all ages and ability levels. This ensures people enjoy the session, develop social skills and explore their abilities.
There are opportunities for parents to join in with the activities or leave their child while they use the gym, attend a fitness class or just enjoy a brew in our Taste for Life Café.
At the end of each Activity Hub there is the opportunity for the family to join the remainder of the public swim. (Normal swim policy/guidelines apply)
