The event is set to attract over 40 adults with disabilities and their carers, family and friends. It will be held on the Macclesfield Athletics Track and Field and will include 12 inclusive bikes and a range of sporting activities for all to enjoy.

Andrew Molyneux, Disability and Inclusion Lead at Everybody commented, ‘in support of the Tour of Britain and upcoming Paralympic Games we have organised a range of activities to take place with an aim to achieve a distance of 120 miles (the Cheshire Tour route) which means 480 laps of the athletics track with our inclusion bikes.

‘In 2014, we held a similar event and it was a great success. We are encouraging people to come and support our efforts and even join in the fun with our multi-sport sessions.’

Everybody Sport and Recreation has been running a number of disability and inclusion summer holiday activities across Cheshire East, this event will be the big finale and everyone taking part will be entered into the Trust’s Tour of Britain fitness challenge competition to win prizes!
