Response to social distancing ‘Rule of 6’ from 14th September

In light of the recent Government announcement from the Prime Minister in relation to rules on social gatherings from 14th September it has been confirmed that venues like ours (gyms and leisure facilities) are exempt from these restrictions.

We are able to hold more than 6 people in our venues and our services can continue under our existing arrangements given we have created COVID secure environments for all activities already in place.

All visitors to our centres need to follow our rules of etiquette for all activities including remaining at least 2m apart when taking part in exercise. You can familiarise yourselves with the government guidance here.

We would like to remind our customers that we have been following government guidance since reopening and have gone to great lengths to keep both our staff and customers safe in our centres. We have recently received a 4.8/5 star rating for cleanliness and hygiene and remaining covid-secure.

With our extensive cleaning regimes, social distancing measures for all activities, one way systems and regular reviews of best practice guidance customers can feel confident to return to their local leisure centre.
