“Hi, my name is Ellie and I’m a Health Referral Lead at Everybody Sport & Recreation, working on the health team. I support clients to meet their health goals (specialising with people with medical conditions) by devising tailored exercise and health plans for them.
I also manage and deliver some of our rehab programmes like ESCAPE-pain. In the past I managed our cookery programme, so I have a strong background in nutrition and healthy eating. However, it is important to state that I’m not a dietician. I will only give generic advice and you should follow any specialist diets produced by your health professional.
So, I’ll start with a quick recap of what a healthy diet should consist of and then we’ll discuss some specific ideas and tips for keeping you healthy this winter.”
