Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

This one-day course is designed for individuals who would like a knowledge of basic first aid & basic Paediatric First Aid, to deal with emergency situations in low-risk workplaces, schools, childcare settings or other settings.

We now offer this course combined with Emergency Paediatric First Aid meaning that you get two qualifications for the price of one. This course is therefore ideal for anyone working in schools or  childcare setting who do not require a full Paediatric First Aid qualification (available with our First Aid at Work course).

Emergency First Aid

A safe working environment is a basic right for all workers and a responsibility for all employers. This one-day first aid course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills, providing employers and your staff with the skills to reduce the risks and dangers in your workplace.

The Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work.

The qualification is Ofqual accredited and valid for three years, making it suitable for all industries and enabling you to meet HSE requirements.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid

First Aid needs of children, varies, from those of adults. This course is for anyone over the age of 16 that comes into contact with or works with, infants and children. This one-day course covers the basic skills of CPR and First Aid related to children and infants. On completion, candidates obtain a Level 3 Emergency Paediatric First Aid.

The qualification is Ofqual accredited and valid for three years.

The course comprises practical work and theoretical classroom work, as well as a practical assessment on CPR and first aid.

Cancellations & Refunds

Wherever possible we will transfer you to an alternate course.

Refund policy:

• Full refunds will only be issued with more than 28 days written notice.
• Cancellations with 14 to 28 days notice will receive a 50% refund
• No refunds will be made for cancellations with less than 14 days notice (except in exceptional circumstances).
• All refunds will be subject to an administration fee.

Refunds will not be issued for candidates who have stated that they can meet the minimum requirements / pre-requisites of a course and then are unable to do so.
