We are now delighted to confirm that Everybody Sport & Recreation has welcomed back customers to our swimming pools. We are doing this in a safe, secure and viable manner. Services already re-introduced are Educational Swimming, the Learn to Swim Scheme, Public Swimming and Club Swimming.
We have devised a new pool programme for each facility. These programmes capture the very latest government guidance and include the relevant governing bodies recommended best practices. These are clearly difficult times and we will need to operate within certain constraints to keep everyone safe. Consequently, the service we are able to offer will look considerably different to the pre-COVID 19 offer, as you would expect.
To ensure that all customers can return to the pool in the safest possible way, in addition to the introduction of rigorous cleaning regimes, there are a number of operational changes that we have also introduced. These changes include the removal of dual access, reduced capacities, new one-way systems, a revised swimming etiquette, bookable swimming sessions, scheduled cleaning times, 15-minute breaks in between every session and much more. These essential changes will still provide all customers with an enjoyable swimming experience, along with the comfort and confidence that we have gone above and beyond to ensure the safest possible environment.
Below is in depth guidance of how our swimming pools and changing rooms are operating, public swimming guidance, video guides and more as well as Learn To Swim Scheme information. Please do take the time to familiarise yourself with the new procedure and guidance for your site before visiting the centre.
If you need any support or further information please contact us by calling your local leisure centre or email [email protected].
Please watch our video which outlines the changes we have made to our facilities and what you can expect when you return for a swim or for our Learn To Swim Scheme. More information on our Learn To Swim Scheme guidance can also be found here, please do have a read of this before attending your swimming lessons.
