What To Expect

Come and join us at our new, family friendly, inclusive activities which will take place monthly across Queens Park in Crewe.

Each month will have a different topic, from pond dipping, butterflies, minibeasts and more!

No sign up required, you can join us on the below Saturdays, all ages and supervised children welcome.

 

Family Friendly Saturdays

Our next session- Saturday 18th May

Topic: Tree Walk

Discover the many different species found in the park and learn to look out for the different features we use to identify trees.

Where: Queens Park in Crewe, taking place from the bowling pavilion.

Time: 9:30am – 11:30am (arrival time from 9:30am – 10:00am)

Please note, there are disabled parking bays in the carpark on Queens Park Drive.

  • 29th June- Wildflowers- Discover the beauty of summer wildflowers, learn how they help wildlife and what you can do to help too.
  • 20th July- Butterflies- Join us as we help the Butterfly Conservation Trust record for the Big Butterfly Count.
  • 17th August- Minibeasts- Discover the different habitats the park has for bugs and learn different ways to find creepy crawlies where you live.
  • 21st September- Birds- As the seasons change, discover the local residents and seasonal visitors hear in the park.
