The Everybody Awards 2024

The Everybody Awards is an annual celebration which recognises the achievements of local heroes in sport, physical activity and health and wellbeing. The awards are organised by Everybody Health and Leisure to celebrate the achievements of local heroes and organisations in Cheshire East.

Why enter

The Everybody Awards is a fantastic evening of inspiration and achievements; it provides nominees and winners with a platform to share their stories to the local community, whilst also providing an opportunity to learn from others. Each year we have an inspiring keynote speaker and host who provide motivational talks and insight into health and sport.

If successfully shortlisted you will be mentioned in press releases, social media, website, within presentations and in the event programme. We will also use your name in future awards promotion, again within press releases, social media and our marketing materials internally and externally.

You can use our ‘shortlisted’ and/or ‘winner’ logos for future promotion of your recognition on your platforms.

We will also be taking photographs and videos at the event, which will be used to promote the awards and future award ceremonies.

If you would not like to have your name or photo/video taken or shared within our marketing materials which we share internally and externally, with the local press, on our website, social media, and within other printed and digital channels, please make us aware before the event by emailing [email protected].

Who should enter?

If you are an individual or organisation living/ working in Cheshire East and are 16+ you are eligible to enter the Everybody Awards.

All nominations need to be in relation to sport, physical activity or health and wellbeing setting.

You can enter the awards more than once and for multiple categories, however you must demonstrate achievements relating to the period specified in the category criteria. Please see individual category descriptions for any age restrictions/criteria related to your entry.

We may move nominations submitted to other categories if we feel it relates to a different category.

Things to consider in your nomination

Nomination question, guidance and approximate word counts.

Please make sure you read each question carefully and plan your answers. Use the ‘you may want to include’ bullet points and reference to what information you should be including in your answer.

You will see we provide an approximate word count for each question – this should give you insight into how much detail we require for each question and the questions are marked accordingly.

For example if you see a question for 300 words, this means the judges feel this is an important element of your nomination so more time should be spent in completing this section and providing as much detail as you can.

Remember – the judges do not know who you are and may have had no experience of your sport/club/organisation etc before so need to understand what you do and how well from your nomination form.

Our judging panel

We have a range of people from different backgrounds on our judging panel including our board of Trustees, Everybody Senior Managers, Sports Development Representatives and Everybody Staff.
